Thirst Flight a Soaring Success!
Wednesday, 25 June 2008
10th June 2008
We were asked by the Cumbria Soaring Club to create a beer for their charity event in June. Each year they raise money and this year the money went towards a new vehicle for the Mountain Rescue Team. We created a light refreshing 4% abv beer using a single hop variety to show the beautiful characteristic of the hop, giving a citrus aroma. The beer has been very well received and we hope to make the beer again soon. |

Thirst Rescue becomes a Permanent
Friday, 21 March 2008
We were asked to create a beer to celebrate the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team’s 60th anniversary. Thirst Rescue was created and launched last year during the Keswick Mountain Festival at the Dog and Gun. This was a golden malty bitter, with a balance of spicy hops at 4% abv. This proved very popular. |
